April 24, 2025 - The Indiana University Launch Accelerator for Biosciences will translate Indiana University’s $1 billion research enterprise into disease prevention and treatments, expand the state’s $99 billion life sciences economy, and improve human health through the new IU Health Incubator at IU LAB.

Wade Clapp, chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and physician-in-chief at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, has been named the inaugural senior associate dean for entrepreneurial research and commercialization for the IU School of Medicine.
